the kitchen wont let me be lonely. praise for hobbies. tonight is the worst, though. these weary eyes wont let me sleep so i made enough pumpkin bread for 36 servings. chin up, chin up. |

tallahassee is comfortable, like a nice cardigan in a cold restaurant. the truth: my heart is half full, and yet half empty.
three months of home, here we go.
love you, jessie cohen
p.s. i hope everybody has one of those summers, this summer: the summer where rain brings dancing the night succumbs to the morning necklaces are replaced by cameras laughter is your music and love is the main dish. |

i couldnt feel stronger. i completed seven dives in three days.
nothing is more beautiful than the ocean at rest. i dove under the sea through caves, reefs, and shipwrecks with fish on both sides of me. i dove at night for thirty minutes, watching the most dangerous sea animals sleeping.
amazing.
fun fact: florida has the most artificial reefs in the world. reefs take hundreds of years to build so they sink ships to form artifical reefs. so coooool.
im home now, wanna hang out? call a sista. <3 jess |

| excitement. |
[Mar. 4th, 2006|01:37 pm] |
its ironic how something so challeging is so amazing.
i cant wait to go scuba diving. i cant wait to go down 100 ft and explore a sunken ship. i cant wait to point out all of the beautiful, extremely large, exotic oceanic animals. i cant wait to pee large amounts in my scuba suit. i cant wait to use a compass to figure out where the coral reef is located, and how to get back to my boat.
i belong in the ocean. |
